It is important that you have everything already organized before you begin the process of creating your release in the My Play MPE system.

You will need the following information:

1. Audio File:  We only accept .WAV or .AIFF audio files. We do not use or accept MP3 files.
2. Cover Image: This can be an artist photo, album or single cover art. We accept only .JPG or .BMP image files.
3. One-sheet: You can attached a one-sheet with your release which could be an artist bio, additional track or album information, etc. We only accept PDF or MS Word Document files.
4. Track Information: You will need to provide Artist Name, Song Title and have the option of providing Album Name, Version / Mix, Artist Website, ISRC and an Impact Date.
5. Promotional Information: You have the ability to provide promotional information about you and your track. This is the place where you tell your story and provide any pertinent information for your recipients to read.

Posting and Email Notification

Posting of Your Release: Upon completion of the upload, and once payment is received, your release will immediately be posted to the Play MPE system. The track will be made available to the users from formats that you have selected. The song will be listed in the “Indie Artists / Labels” container under the Available Tracks tab of the Play MPE Player. When speaking to users that are installed with the Play MPE system, make sure that you reference the location of your track.

Email Notification: The Play MPE system will notify recipients, that you have selected for your release, via an email notification. This email announcement will provide the user with track information, artist image and a link to immediately login to preview/ stream, download, burn and export your track. It is important to note that this an email digest and is a summary of all the newest Indie Artist / Labels releases within a 7 day timeframe. It goes out to the recipient list every Friday morning.

Payment and Pricing

Payment: The My Play MPE System requires payment before your release is made available to the format servicing lists you have selected. All transactions are processed via secure SSL bank level services. Payment is made via credit card and we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Please make sure you have your credit card available when you are ready to create your release. You will be asked for the three or four digit number on the back of your card.

Pricing: We charge for each recipient you select for the servicing of your release. For both US and Canadian servicing, our fee per recipient is $1.95. You will be asked to select the various format servicing lists and provided a final total cost prior to providing payment.
